Rumi seemed to be the obvious choice for the very reason that she's androgynous. That and, well, she is a fangirl/Mary Sue hunter.

The Sue-slaying originated originally from the fact that I discovered the fact that rabid Legolas fangirls were polluting the world of fanfiction. I've expanded to multiple fandoms since then (two years ago around May 5th, actually), but the Tolkien fandom has sadly not grown much better. (grumbles)
